Dive Boots are a key component of your dive setup. They provide warmth and comfort and allow divers or snorkellers to wear open heel SCUBA fins which often offer more power than closed heel snorkelling fins. Boots also protect your feet when in and around the water which is essential for shore diving around rocks/oysters/corals.
Dive boots should fit snug as a loose fit will slip when wet, and most boots tend to break in slightly and conform to your foot over time meaning a tight fit will get more and more comfortable the more you dive. boots with harder soles will add a little more padding to open heel fins and more protection and grip for shore diving.
