Socks

Neoprene Socks or Booties help keep your feet warm and protected when snorkelling, spearfishing or freediving. The extra padding also helps fill out the fins as many freediving fins are slightly oversized to accommodate socks.

3mm or 2mm socks are popular for most conditions in Australia while thicker 5mm socks may be used in colder waters or lycra socks are ideal for tropical waters. 

Socks can also be worn under dive boots for added warmth and comfort, especially thermal socks like Enth Degree F3s. For sizing socks are designed to fit snugly, just like regular socks. Each brand is slightly different but generally most socks have plenty of stretch.
