SSI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty

Picture this: you've booked the dive of a lifetime, spent hours setting up gear and getting out to the site, finally get to the bottom and check your NDL: 5 minutes

As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals - so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen.

Upon completion, you will earn an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification.
Prerequisites

• Minimum age: 10 Years
• Course runtime: 3 hours in-store (theory completed online)
• Completion requirements: Complete all online theory and in-store practical session completed
• Gear requirements: A nitrox compatible dive computer , but having your own Nitrox compatible Dive Computer will be far more useful.

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox course can be completed straight after your Open Water Course and takes only 1 day. Nitrox is most commonly used by recreational divers between 25m-40m so this is a great course to pair up with your Advanced Adventure or Deep Specialty.
